tl;dr: cyber punk-inspired digital art.

A couple of weeks ago, I came across the idea of creating some gloomy, cyberpunk composites to try and capture the dreary mood of 2020. Thus, with the help of my Fuji X-T3, a bunch of speed lights and light modifiers, some colored gels, and some of my awesome Fujinon lenses, I set off to seize the inspiration rapture on a stuffy, summery night …
Also BIG thanks to Manuela Balk for helping me out by being my cyber model, and a great one at that!

Now, of course, as a VFX artist, I would not just click the shutter, adjust the levels in Photoshop, and call it a day, right? Thus, after the shots were taken and inspiration was found, I went on to do some VFX on them. For the backgrounds, I used models that I got from various sources (KitBash3d mostly) and then did the shading, lighting, and of course the comping all by my self... Not bragging, just saying ;). In the end, I think I ended up with a bunch of decent renditions of the whole cyberpunk aesthetic universe. I hope you agree :D!
