tl;dr: colored gel multi-light photography.

A couple of weeks ago, I came across the idea of creating some studio portraits with the help of my Fuji X-T3, my new Godox TT865F speed lights (I got two of them right before the pandemic), a few light modifiers, some colored gels, and my awesome XF56mm f1.2 and XF16mm f1.4.
Also big thanks to Manuela Balk for helping me out by being my model, and a great one at that!

Now, of course, as a VFX artist, I would not just click the shutter, adjust the levels in Photoshop, and call it a day, right? Thus, after the shots were taken and inspiration was found, I went on to do some VFX on them. Nothing crazy, just a simple BG replacement and some minor retouch here and there. By the way, even though I am a 2D artist, I have my decent share of 3D savvy, so I did the modeling, shading lighting, and of course the comping all by my self... Not bragging, just saying ;)

I hope you like it!
