KINGS

Right before leaving Belgium I got a job at the French VFX company Mopart as a lead compositor for the feature film Kings, a show about a foster family in South Central a few weeks before the city erupts in violence following the verdict of the Rodney King trial in 1992. With a very beautiful cinematography and a great cast headed by Daniel Craig and Halle Berry, this movie showed a lot of promise to me at first glance. As a lead compositor, my work was all about helping a group of junior to mid artist to pull out some demanding invisible-vfx shots, along with working on some of them my self, as well as writing some python code to try to smooth things throughout the pipeline. Nice experience overall, and eager to see the results soon.
